Greetings Lovely Weekend Hair Warriors!:hiya:

Hope all in Life is Well and that each and everyone of you are Healthy, Safe, Grateful and Thankful.

We have 5 days of Self Love and Self Care!

I personally Love to Hear what You Mighty Hair Warriors are using each week.:callme:

For me, it helps keep me focused and grounded on my hair game from week-to-week.

So.....WHAT Are your Weekend Hair Plans?

I want to do a henna treatment, but I may not have the time. We’ll see. I’m going to shoot for Sunday.
If I henna:
Clarify w/Bask &Bloom bar
Henna w/ Bellebar Organics and Green Tea
Moisturizing DC w/ APB OMG

I have no idea how I’m going to style my hair. My hair style determines my final products.

Edit: I completed my henna treatment on slightly dirty hair. It worked well! I layered my hair w/ Sirod Naturals LI, APB Honey 3N1, and Mimi’s Curls oil. I placed my hair in four plaits and I’m wearing my lace front bob wig.

I did a ponytail flexirod set instead of banding so that my hair could dry under my dryer more quickly and my hair feels really, really fantastic. I've always done my sets with foam because i typically wear them out, but i really like the feel of the ultra smooth and moisturized hair. the it's a 10 sally's dupe is great!

Yesterday, I used

Brigeo Co Wash --- Lately, I'm loving the cowash
Briogeo Don't Despair Repair -- are the rumours about the formula change true? That would be shame because the combo of the cowash and conditioner was amazing.....
Stylers
Obia Curl Hydration Spray
Curlsmith Oil in Cream
Curlsmith Styling Souffle

Excellent results...

Saturday
Warm Water
TGIN Green Tea Leave-In
Camille Rose Curl Love Moisture Milk
As I Am Dry and Itchy Scalp Oil

Just remoisturized my hair and scalp and put it into 16 twists until I wash it next weekend. First time using the TGIN Leave-In and I like it! The Moisture Milk is too heavy for me to use as a leave in but I like it as my cream.

Haven't used gel in a couple weeks and I think my scalp is thanking me for it. No crazy itching!

Earlier today...

Pre-Wash Routine...
Split hair into 2 sections, worked on 1 section at a time.
Refresher Spray: As I Am JBCO Water
Scalp Treatment: iQ Natural JBCO Lavender Scent (on certain spots/areas of my scalp)
Refresher Spray: As I Am JBCO Water
Regular water in a spray bottle on the current section after the scalp treatment application.
Detangling Agent: Herbal Essences Smooth Rose Hips Conditioner
Split into 3 separate section, detangled/removed matting & shed hair, braided up the detangled section.
Finished with 3 braids, repeated steps on the other side.
Covered my hair with a plastic conditioning cap.

Possibly 2 hrs later, while my hair is still in the somewhat loosened braids...

Clarifying Shampoo: Kinky-Curly Come Clean Shampoo
DC: Miche INDULGE Moisturizing Deep Conditioner
Leave-In: The Mane Choice Exotic Cool-Aid Sweet Papaya & Pineapple Infinite Conditioner
Styling Product: Xtreme Clear Gel
Dry: Air-dry for a wash n go

Pretty sure my roots have been weird due to hard water build-up (and not shea) so going to re-wash tonight. Tentative plans:
  • Renpure ACV shampoo
  • WOW Skin Science Avocado Oil & Coconut Oil Conditioner (adding honey & some oil); 30min dc
  • CR Honey leave in
  • African Pride Moisture Miracle curling cream

Have you ever tried Bask and Bloom shampoo bar? I have hard water also and that bar changed my hair’s life.
