NTM Silk Touch Users come here please??

I normally use the NTM Silk Touch formula that costs 6.99 (6 fl. oz.) and comes in the round bottle but just read the ingredients on the NTM "Daily Deep Conditioner" that is 5.99 (8.45 fl. oz.) and comes in the squirt bottle. The ingredients are essentially the same and it's more product for $1 less, except for the less expensive stuff says "After shampooing, massage conditioner throughout hair, concentrating on the ends. Rinse well."

My question is does anyone use this on a daily basis on dry hair with good results? I would like to use it in place of the NTM Silk Touch but wonder if it would be too much build up?

Any experiences, good or bad, would certainly be appreciated!

did you check to see if the consistency was the same and smell? because now a days they put the same product in 2 or 3 bottles w/different names, :ohwell: .

My point exactly!!!:perplexed They will have you buying "everything in the product line" when in fact you just may have 2 bottles under your cabinet with the same exact product in them!

It smells the exact same, but the consistency is just a tad bit firmer. (I guess for you to be able to squirt it out of the bottle)....I will be so ecstatic if someone reports that they have used this stuff and still got great results b/c that whole 2.5 oz for $1 less would make a big difference!

Bumping for more replies:)

Personally, I think it looks almost the same. I say try it out. Some of the best-leave ins are from conditioners themselves.

I use both, and I never thought about this! The Daily Deep Conditioner is very thick. I would maybe mix it with water or something to use on my fine hair, but I think I'm going to try it...

I noticed the same thing the other day also (you ladies got me reading ingredients on everything) Its pretty much the same ingredients with all the NTM products. I was going to pick up the conditioner for the same reason you are stating but for some reason i was scurred. But I did find the silk touch leave in to be 6.99 at Albertson's supermarket and 5.89 at walmart so If you are close to a walmart you may want to try to look for ntm products there if you havent already.

Yes, I use it on my dry hair. I put it on my ends and put my hair up in a pony. It builds up after a few days but it works great.

yup it is pretty much the same ingredients..but not quite.
I, myself would not use the ddc as a leave in. I'm gonna stick with the silk touch which I use as a moisturizer leave in on my dry hair:-).

Hey Girlie! I knew you were a faithful user and I was almost about to send you a PM to get your opinion!! I have used it for a day now and I noticed that the DDC leaves a slight film on the hair and really is not as "light" and leaves my hair as "silky" feeling as the regular NTM Silk Touch.

I would probably use it to put on wet hair, but I think I may stick to the NTM Silk Touch for the daily moisturizing.....

Thanks Sylver2 and all the other ladies for chiming in!!!!
