I think it's her hair, but sometimes hair with a lot of volume is actually not that thick. My mother's hair is like that.
 
When I was still relaxed, I could blow my hair dry without any products and it would be huge. Maybe that's what's going on with her head. Her hair is pretty. I like the color!
 
I like her hair, and it looks fine (as in the strand thickness) to me. I agree with the other posters, she has more hair per square inch, but the actual strands seem fine.
 
I thought the hair's thickness was how much hair they have not how thick or thin the hair strands are. So yes she does have thick hair it's just fine.
 
I have seen these pics b4, and i really think she is relaxed b/c her roots are stick strait..
like someone else posted, when i have blown out my hair, it looked like that..well not as long though..i think its alotta volume..but i must say, its refreshing to see an artist with a more natural look..thats always nice 2 see.
 
Her hair is beautiful. I like the colour in the first picture.

Her hair seems natural even though it appears she has straight roots. I find that with fine hair it does not take much effort to get the roots to appear straight. With my hair for example, I could just tie a scarf around the hair line and after a while, the hair lies down straight.

I met Leela at a listening party for her new album about 2 weeks ago.

Her hair really is that huge. First of all she is teeny tiny, like 4 feet, 75 pounds lol (okay I exaggerate, like 4'1 and 76 pounds) and I'm 5'9 so I was literally staring down at the top of her head and yes I'm obsessed with hair so I was all up in hers (looking for the clip on, extensions, something.....:lol: ) But I'm happy to say I saw no proof of obvious "help", just a beautiful head of SUPER THICK beautiful hair. It's damn near bigger than her.

Y'all should check the album out, Lil Miss Thing can BLOW.
 
Yes, I think all of it is her hair! I think the strands are most likely thin, she just got a lot of hair spreaded out. VERY PRETTY though!
 
Her hair is cute but I've got her beat when it comes to the thickness. Thick AND coarse stranded girl right here baby! (I'm sure some of y'all remember my braid out pic :lol: )
 
I think it's her hair, my daughter's hair, though not nearly as long as hers has similiar characteristics. Anyway, I think she is just lovely, hair and face........
 
Absolutely gorgeous!!! She looks like a goddess.

Goodness our natural hair really is beatiful when it's healthy!!!
