I agree and that is the bottom line however I also know that there are several people who will say anyting to get a lachen and more often than not what they say is mean spirited. That would clear up 80% of the e-beefs on this forum.

Very true! A week ago there was a thread about a non-member; granted we all have right to our opinions, but while reading, I was thinking I would be so embarassed about some of the comments made if she came and read them. She did and someone posted her reply! A few people tried to back track but it just goes to show that we all really should think about our comments before it is posted. I'm in! I want it to be like it was when I first started to lurk.

I'm fairly new here and I don't post that much... but I read the threads in all discussion forums a lot! Everyone is entitled to their opinion but some threads with a mean spirited tone make it uncomfortable just to read, let alone to post in.
But I totally agree... if we operate with respect to all then everyone can contribute and feel happy doing it!

Now that many of us have had our say, let's say that from now we start afresh. (is "afresh" a word yall??)

Who here an now will make a stand to make this the kind of great place it used to be and more? Will you agree to think before you speak? Will you pm someone instead of blowing them up on the board? Will you greet a newbie or answer a question for the umpteeth time?

How will we revitalize the board?

Am In for that, I know I started off on the wrong foot,(newbie!)
Will make sure I respect that other people have different views no matter what I may feel about them.
