Hello all you lovely people. I'm finally taking out my mini-braids!! Sunshine and Happiness!! I'm just using VO5 Moisture Milks in Passion Fruit (smells really delicious and it has mad slip), a tiny spray bottle filled with only water from Dollar Tree, and a metal tip rattail comb. I'm so excited..and I just can't hide it lol. I'm twisting up every 2 braids that I take down and I have a wig for going out

I am doing a Henna gloss treatment this weekend.

Apply Henna and leave on for 6 hours
Remove Henna with V05 conditioner
Cowash: Claudies Jojoba Cleaning Conditioner
DC: Naturelle Grow Slippery Elm DC, Porosity Control, Olive Oil, Peppermint, Rosemary, and Eucalyptus Oil under steam
Leave-ins: Annabelle's/Vatika Frosting/Giovanni Direct
Apply serum
Detangle and air dry to about 80%
Install flexi-rods and sit under dryer for 30 mins

rinse hair
scalp scrub
DC with heat with purification masque
cowash and detangle with tresemme naturals
wash and go- dry under hooded dryer and stretch roots

Tonight I will:
Prepoo/Detangle w/APB Pumpkin & Fennel oil in Honey Dew/Trader Joe's Tea Tree Tingle, & NJoy oil on scalp.

Shampoo: Shea Moisture Coconut Hibiscus Curl & Shine Shampoo

Protein Treatment: Megatek or Komaza Protein Strengthener (not sure which one I will use).

DC: Silk Dreams Vanilla Silk

Leave in: Soultanicals Knot Sauce

Seal: APB Oilive & Oats Infused oil in B-day cake/Soultanicals Knot Butter

Overnight EVCO soak lightly spritzed with water and AVJ

Wash with Cafe Moreno shampoo bar

Oil Rinse (mix= castor oil, olive oil, grapeseed oil, argon oil, jojoba oil) (not going to repurchase the bekura apple & sorghum...like my mix better)

Chilled Tea (Rosemary, sage, Coffee) and AVJ rinse and level in

Air dry 50-70% in puffy sections w/ends twisted to keep them straight

Tension blow dry on warm - Tresseme Heat Tamer probably only in the ends

Bekura Palm Tapioca & Pumpkin Seed Butter or MYHC Buttery Soy

Chunky twists in bun, crown braid, or just a regular bun

Kept it simple for wash day since I didn't have my stash:

Washed with Suave naturals macademia oil and wild orchid- this is actually quite nice, my hair felt cleansed but soft.

DCed with ORS hair masque
Will moisturize with ORS olive oil lotion and some Jason's vitamin E oil. I will probably just air dry/ blow dry on cool. I'll finish with a bit of blue magic to seal.

This will probably change...I'm feeling a bit blah this week so I may postpone wash day until I'm in a better mood so I can avoid potential setbacks.

Pre-Poo: APB Ayurvedic Oil & STO Black Seed Oil with peppermint/atlas cedarwood/white thyme/lavender/tea tree EOs on scalp and Tropic Isle Coconut JBCO on ends overnight
Cleanse: Aquaphor Baby Shampoo
DC: SD Razzberry Coconut Affair with JBCO under dryer
Post-Wash: APB Cocoa & Avocado LI, Shescentit Coco Creme LI, APB Coffee Oil, CHI Keratin Silk Infusion

I did my midweek cowash today with HE Hello Hydration. Applied APB's leave in and Aunt Jackie's Don't Shrink Gel. Sitting under the dryer now.

Sunday I plan on:
Cowashing/Cleansing with the Shea Moisture Purification Mask
Rinse Out: V05
DC: I used Claudie's Khave DC last time and wasn't impressed. I may give it another go or pop out my Ynobe Shop Amla and Nettle DC or Darcy's Pumpkinseed
Put in twists for a twist out (more than likely APB Leave In and Jakeala Shea Castor Hemp Parfait)

Keeping my NG as stretched as possible this weekend
Just finished moisturizing and sealing and my hair loved it. I could use a light protein treatment for my ends this Saturday though.

Washed with SM Manuka Honey Shampoo (applied it before I went to the shower on scalp only and massaged it in). In the shower while rinsing it out I sqeezed the lather into my celies. Hair was very clean, but still soft and moisturised.

Then I applied the Manuka Honey rinse out condish topped with a little APB Blueberry Cheesecake DC, left it on while bathing, and rinsed it 80% out. I am drying under an old t-shirt now.

In the am I will apply APB leave-in, moisturising cream and seal with the ayurvedic oil. I also plan to spritz my scalp with her hair tonic and do a scalp massage with the Green Powerhouse oil.
