What’s a cactus treatment?

@Mapleoats Hello! I burn the hairs off, peel it,slice it up,place in the blender with a little spring water, strain it multiple times get all the chunks out, after I apply it for 30min to 1hr..This application has plenty slip, helps the hair with strength while adding plenty of moisture and hair growth.

*I use a lot of Ayurvedic mask on the regular & they can be drying,so to balance things out I like to reincorporate natural products to up my moisture levels..It helps to retain length as well...Hope this helps

Happy Hair Growing!

Sounds awesome!! Thank you :)

Saturday or Sunday:
Shampoo with innersense hydrating hair bath
Condition with briogeo curl charisma conditioner
Style with kinky curly knot today and curling custard
Diffuse dry with my new dyson!
I’m actually under the hair dryer. The kinky curly products are new to me, so I decided to dry as normal instead of trying a new drying method.
I won’t be home for my washes the week of thanksgiving, so I’ll take staple products and try diffusing then.

Just finished planning out my next 6 weeks of hair rotations.

For some reason it never dawned on me that I could blend up fresh aloe vera and freeze it in cubes. Mind blown.

Will start steaming my hot oil soon.

Plans for tomorrow:

Prepoo: hot oil treatment
Poo: SM manuka honey and mafura oil shampoo
DC: SM manuka honey and mafura oil masque

LCO
Leave in: SM kids coconut and hibiscus spray
Cream: Olaplex #6
Oil: Olaplex #7 + Argan oil

Scalp: Nioxin system 5 spray treatment

Yesterday

Pre-poo and detangled with Tree Naturals Bamboo and Lotus Water DC and my Wet Brush
Shampooed twice with Walgreen's T-sal Shampoo
Deep Conditioned for 30 minutes with SSI Royal Honey and Argan Masque with Heat
Oiled Scalp with Softee Thickening Growth Oil

Styled my hair in two-strand twists with Kinky Curly Knot Today, Kinky Curly Curling Custard and Sweet Almond Oil

So last night :

Pre-poo: Hot oil treatment with Vatika, JBCO and TMC oil under steamer (30 min)

Shampoo: one wash with As I Am Cleansing Pudding (let that sit for 3 minutes) and one wash with Bekura Fatty Coconut Poo

DC: Belle Bar Chebe (2 scoops) mixed with TMC Ancient Egyptian conditioner (1 HR with hot heads cap)

Finished with Natty Naturals leave in, a few drops per quadrant of Vatika & JBCO, and topped with Yaya Creations Chebe creme.

I did the hot oil treatment with my diy herbal oil, my scalp feels so good. I did not receive my products today (USPS as usual ), So I will be using the SM mafura oil line for shampoo and DC.

I will DC for 30min-1 hour today. The manuka honey and mafura oil masque is oldie but goodie, it's so good for moisture. It doesn't even take long time to bring my hair back to life.

How do you like the SSI mask?

Prepoo with Redken Bond Builder ( a cheaper version of Olaplex 3)
Shampooed with Philip Kingsley Remoisturising Shampoo
Conditioner with Philip Kingsley Remoisturising Condtioner
Leave in - Aphogee Pro Vitamin Leave in + OGX Plex 3 Leave in + A dab of Avocado oil
Scalp Treatment Living Proof Dry Scalp Treatment

Hair feel soft, silky and strong.
I've been experimenting with Salon Prepoo's. ie treatments that you do before shampooing and I'm moving away from Products with too much scent as my skin is sooooooooooooooooo sensitive. Some fragrance is ok, but not too much.
I want to buy Philip Kingsley the Elasticizer Extreme.

Mid week hair :

Amla-fenugreek and aloe vera mask pre-poo

TMC Ancient Egyptian shampoo (finished bottle)

DC: Hydratherma Naturals Amino Acids

Natty Naturals leave in, Vatika & JBCO, Yaya Creations Chebe creme

How do you like the SSI mask?
I like it. It's very moisturizing especially when you consider that I had to shampoo with a medicated shampoo twice. My hair still remained moisturized for days after my wash and it has a pleasant, non-overpowering scent. Not to mention I can't beat 13 oz of product for $16 compared to other brands giving you less for that same price. I'd definitely recommend it especially if anyone here needs to use medicated shampoos on their hair
