Help! I'm looking for some cute (not little kid-ish) barrettes...I've checked the BSS and even like walmarts target etc and all they have are those either little girly barrettes or some sissy barrette that can't hold like even 2 strands of my hair... So ladies please! where do you get your hair barrettes?!?!? I already know about flexi-8s (thanks dlewis  ) and hairzings but otherwise I'm at a loss...and now that I'm wearing my hair out more I need some new styles lol

TIA :rosebud:

Claire's Boutique, they have nice or they use to have nice simple barrettes. I have faux tortoise shell, gold and silver barrettes. I so hate glitter and such, I am friggin 38 years old, too old for that crap. I am not Mariah Carey. BUT I do love Hello Kitty and I did purchase some Hello Kitty studs but I wear them around the house. My ex always gave me Hello Kitty crap.

try longhairgirl.com their barrette's are beautiful but kinda pricey. i originally saw the ad on here one day.

Look on etsy.com and see if there is anything you like.

A lot of the BSS have nice ones!

Flexi8 is the only non-sissy barrette I know of.:yep:

I love, love, love the hair accessories at ULTA! I would buy them all up if i could afford to. The only thing imho it's that they can sometimes be on the pricey side. Every now and then i can catch some in the clearance aisle or there will be a 20% discount.

I always walk straight to the hair product and never thought to looked over at the accessories aisle. Thanks for the heads up!

I got this one from walmart for $3 and it will hold a lot of hair
