i stopped going to my stylist regularly about 4 years ago, but i always maintained that i got my best results when i went it... when i decided to start my hair journey, though, i also decided that i didn't need to go to my stylist at all... so my visits went to 0 (well, almost 0 - i did go to her for a trim in the very beginning)....

fast forward to today... since i'm relaxed again, i figured i could go back to my stylist and things would be fine... and don't get me wrong, i'm not hating my hair or anything, but what i realized is that i'm used to certain products and techniques, and i can't expect to get that everywhere i go... i mean i came out with some big texas hair :lachen: (after a rollerset that we then wrapped)... and what made me really go hmmmmmmmmm was that it didn't look too different from the rollerset i did couple of weeks ago... which gave me a teensy weensy pride moment... so i was sorta underwhelmed

and ouch, it hurt!!... she said that it was because i had at least half an inch of ng and i'm like noooooooooooooo i can't cuz i just did a touch up on the 16th... but if that's the case, i'm a tad excited since i haven't really been doing much in the past 3 weeks (AND i've had more heat than normal used on my head lately)...

thought i'd share...

your hair has ALOT of fullness and body to it and it looks very healthy Qutie.

for your nap....why not take this opportunity to try some pincurls? you may be pleasantly surprised how easy it is to maintain your style that way ;)

that is too funny because that's pretty much what i did... i took the ponytail down to see if my roots were doing better (and they were great thanks to some sunsilk 24/7 creme - pink bottle) and did a haphazard pin up of about 7 sections to maintail the body... i'm hoping that it'll all be cute in the morning (i have a feeling that nap is going to turn into my all night snoozefest)...

You feel proud of yourself! You now know that you can do your hair as good as or even better than your stylist.
