Today I went to the salon after almost a year of doing my own hair.I wanted to look really nice this weekend. The stylist was nice and professional and my hair turned out great. She seemed to know about healthy hair care until she said I should not go longer than eight weeks without a relaxer.:nono: She was shocked when I let her know that I normally stretch my relaxers from 3 to 6 months. Overall, she did a great job. I just thought I would share my experience since my husband is not nearly as excited as I am. Attached are pics of my journey since finding LHCF.

My stylist doesn't think I should go past six, mainly because my hair tangles so bad. I have never stretched past 8 but I am personally weighing if it's worth stretching and losing so much hair due to detangling at relaxer time.
