I had a thread on the OT board about how I thought Arm & Hammer detergent was causing me to itch like crazy. But it's the strangest thing, we still use that detergent, but the itching has ceased.
This is how the itching started--I used Aphogee's 2 Minute Keratin Reconstructor. As my hair began to dry, my scalp started to itch like CRAZY!
I assumed it was the conditioner causing my scalp to itch, because it was the only new thing I'd used.
Shortly after, EVERYTHING began to itch! The itching is gone, but this is making me sit up and pay attention. I'd never really paid attention to the threads about how some hair products are dangerous to your health. Sometimes, I take the "ignorance is bliss" approach, okay.
So could a product applied to my hair and scalp really make me itch all over? If so, that's scary and I need to change some things...
