Ready to be APL
I am SOOO MADDD, I loved Wholefoods conditioner as a cowash, but now that they have added new ingredients to it, I can no longer do this. I am so angry. When I used it before it felt like I used a sulfate free shampoo my hair felt clean, now because of all the moisturizing agents added I cant do this. I would switch back and forth between this and the Trader Joes conditioner. I was also using it in my daughters braid leave-in that I made and now I cant because it might make her hair toooo soft. I have a serious problem with thisWhy is this a problem, wellllll with the added ingredients that I put in it it brought it up just right now I have to search for something else.

I went and researched it and someone on naturally curly said they just dilute it with other condiotioners, I guess I will dilute it to 1:1. Gosh why cant companies leave good enough alone.:wallbash:

I just found this:http://www.gcimagazine.com/marketstrends/channels/smallgroceries/40905072.html

Awwwwwwwwwww, I know how you feel. It truly is tragic when a product is switched, especially when they don't tell you.

So their conditioner is now more moisturizing. Whereas, before it was more of a mild sulfate free shampoo?

I might pick it up tonight knowing they have now changed their formula. :woot:

Ohh and I'm sorry to hear this happened to your favorite product too. :look:

So their conditioner is now more moisturizing. Whereas, before it was more of a mild sulfate free shampoo? Yes when used alone it left my hair very clean, I only use water soluble products in my hair so this worked really well for me.When I used it as a leavein with other products added it became a leave-in to die for moisturizing but still very light. I would use the condt and distilled water 1:1, 1-2 TBSP light oil, essential oils and aloe vera gel. I got this basic formula from motowngirl.com.

I might pick it up tonight knowing they have now changed their formula. :woot:I am going to try it alone to see what it does before diluting it

Thanks however I am still :cry2: for now atleast.

I actually tried the newly formulated 365 conditioners (well, only the citrus one) and I loved it. I found that it made my hair feel very light and soft. I didn't like the way the old formulation made my hair feel. They re-formulated the conditioners so that they are more natural. The only qualm I have with it (and this is a weird one) is that it makes my hair very fluffy and volumous. I don't really like that for my hair. My hair has a tendency of being fluffy on it's own, lol.

would anyone happen to have a list of the new ingredients? i'm not too sure i'm mad at this change. it seems they've updated their standards, and totally removed all of these ingredients from all of their products, including sulfates, & parabens.

These were not in their products this is just a list of items that are deemed unaceptable in the body care industry. Their previous conditioner did not have parabens. I dont know about the shampoo. Whole foods did not have all these items in their line. The only one I saw on this list that was in their conditioner that was removed was the PEG 40 Castor oil ( I did not view the entire list). They did not have parabens in their conditioner. I dont know about the shampoo.

Old conditioner ingredients:
Water, Cetearyl Alcohol, PEG-40 Castor oil, Stearalkonium chloride, Glyceryl Stearate, Benzyl Alcohok, Glycerin, Dehydroacetic Acid, Sodium citrate panthenol, Chamomilla recutita ( Matricaria Flower Extract), Tocopherol (Vit E), Aloe Brbadensis, Rosmarinus Officinale (Rosemary), Lavandula Angustifolia)Lavender), Citrus Reticulata(Tangerine)

New ingredients for unscented I use the lavender one so just add in some lavender somewhere in the bunch:
Ingredients: aqua (water), behentrimonium chloride, glyceryl stearate, gluconolactone, sodium benzoate, phenethyl alcohol, glyceryl caprylate, polysorbate 60, cetearyl alcohol, glycerin, sodium citrate, stearyldimoniumhydroxypropyl laurylglucosides chloride, aloe barbadensis, panthenol, tocopherol (vitamin e), matricaria recutita (chamomile flower extract).

I am sure it is good I just liked how the other one cleaned my hair I did not use it in the way it was purposed.
