No Trimming, but Dusting is OK?

So I know alot of women believe in not cutting their hair at all. Me I've never been into getting my hair trimmed up until the last 3 years.

I do know that if I trim too much I can risk not retaining length but I think I have to do something.

My ends are atrocious. I've done all the deep conditioning I can do. I've done reconstructing, but I really I need to DUST or TRIM.

I need to know, is dusting just barely cutting your ends?

I know what trimming is.

Okay Imma do that tonight because my ends are jagged. I don't think they should be like that.
