If you try it post pics. It's not what I expected but her hair looks great. I'm curious to see what it looks like on thicker hair.

Nice idea... But did you see when she took it down? Her hair was all tangled up in that head band. She had to pretty much rip it out. That would be a 'no thank you' for my hair.

Hmmm, interesting but I'm sticking with my satin-wrapped foam rollers.

Tip: I comb/brush my flatironed hair toward the front, over my head, tie a scarf around to keep the hair in place and then roll my hair upside down. I finish up by tying and tucking the remainder of the scarf around the rollers. Sometimes I might need a second scarf if I've used lots of rollers.

In the morning, I take the rollers out and style. I like the volume and swing this routine gives me.

Hmmm. Ive been contemplating heat styling for the rest of the year and this sounds like a great way to get two weeks out of a press. :scratchch:

@SVT Are your ends curled under or flipped up after rolling it it this way?

@leona2025 I curl under. I like lots of volume. :yep:

ETA: Oops. I think I misread your question. I curl under and the result is my ends are mostly flipped up. I comb to blend and fluff. Also, my hair is slightly layered so that also helps with volume.

SuchaLady I can usually go for a week before shampooing again. I also touchup my edges or roots if I think it's necessary.
