No Edges?? No Worries! Shoya has solutions for Alopecia & more

A lot women, young and old, suffer from alopecia or balding.. especially around the edge of the hairline. For that reason many of them opt for hairstyles that fall down or "swoop" around the areas they wish to cover. But the summer is almost here.. and I'm sure we would all love to be able to put our hair up in a ponytail every once in a while.. and that's why celebrity stylist Ms. Shoya uses a technique called a "pull up sew-in weave" with an "illusion edge".
Check out the photo above. Same girl.. Different hair.
Shoya says,
The client has hair loss on her edges and she thought she could never get a pull up sew-in.. so I Made it happen by giving her an illusion edge....underneath is growth Protecter.

Wow. Now that's a good weave!!

Yeah the edges are too thick or something, like Barbie hair. It would look more natural if the hair started out finer and got thicker progressively, but it looks good still!

So how are these illusion edges attached? She says sew in-- but there is no hair there to sew on. Is it some sort of lace edge that's glued down?

The OP's picture of the 'Illusion Edge,' plus the video posted by Mistycat, has got to be some of the most ratchet stuff I have seen in a long while. No wonder a lot of folks in the hair industry view us as buffoonish cash cows for the often ineffective extremes we will go to to look 'good.' There is no way on earth that either of these women's hairlines look presentable, let alone natural. And if glue was used in the first picture, you can put all the 'growth protectant' you want up in there, it's still not going to counteract the GLUE you used to kill that poor woman's scalp.
