She did a photo shoot recently without all the makeup, and wigs and in the interview she stated that she was really scared to do it because she wouldn't be hiding behind her public personna. So maybe there's something to this.

BTW, I believe it's her hair. As stated up thread, I find it interesting that so many of us get insulted when questioned about our hair being weave, but find is impossible to believe that this could be her hair. Celebs can search the internet just like we can. We all found our way to this board, maybe she did too. It's just a google search away...........

Personality - ?? She stated in that recent interview that she basically hides behind her public personna of thegarish cloths, makeup and wigs. So it follows that her true personality is shy.

Shade - as in skin color? That can be the result of lighting. I'm pretty pale and some of my pictures are darker and some are lighter.

Thickness - her weight? once again, that can be a result of lighting or anything else. Kim K goes from skinny to fat from photo to photo.

Anyway, IMO it's just not that hard for me to believe it's her hair. But in the end ot does not matter what any of us believe. It doesn't change a strand on her head.

There's no reason to lie and posting a fake pic is too much of a risk when probably a million stylist and make up artists and photographers have seen you before you put the wig on. They would put her on blast in a minute. And 3 years plus of straight wigging could of achieved that easily.

I never alluded to self esteem issues I was just stating facts. I don't really care what she does to her body as it's not mine, but I do love some of her music. I think it is hers and as other people have said the way she is stretching out her hair makes it look like she visits hair boards. Plus I think the fact that she has not shown her face is deliberate to get people talking about whether its hers or not

I think it is all hers...it looks nice. I believe that she will do just what she said and wear it out when she hits her length goal.

She hasn't hidden anything....she just doesn't talk about it because it prob isn't as serious to her as it is to people that have nothing to do with her life or body

Nicki has the funniest hair reveal photos. The first one had a random piece of hair extending from obscurity, while this one has the face completely cut off. Is she trying to protect her anonymity?

Well, her hair should be long. She practically lives in wigs and weaves and chances are she has a stylist to care for her hair underneath. What would be nice is for her to rock her real hair no clip-ins for fullness and really prove to the masses that just because a black woman wears fake hair doesn't mean she is bald. Nicki seems too vain to let her own hair be damaged and chewed up. I think it's her hair. As to why she covered her face, I mean it kind of ruins the mystic of anonymous celebrity lurkers on the board. And I am sure Nicki is just loving this whole battle over whether it is her hair or not. And even if she were to show her face, there would still be women exclaiming that they need to see her scalp.

I am telling you black women be breaking their necks over black women and long hair. My hair isn't even that long and whenever I go into my hair salon, the issues that come out are scary which is why I mostly bun my hair and now only go to the hair salon for blow outs.

One Nigerian women from Canada on a Nigerian website who talked about her waist length hair said that women still think that she has some latest technology weave.

Umm yeah her hair needs a good trim. Whether its hers or not I could care less cuz if that's a weave she need ta do betta! That is not awe-worthy hair so idk why ppl even argue over whether its hers or not anyway. She aint bald under them wigs. And if she lurking here, good is what I say...maybe she can get some tips and improve upon that thinning. It needs a good cut of 3-4 inches. And im not hating, just being honest for those who think that hair is "all that."
