It seems to be some sort of hair conditioner that straightens hair....it's not a relaxer.

NICE & STRAIGHT HAIR STRAIGHTENER SPECIAL NOTES Before using straightener, examine scalp for cuts, scratches, abrasions or any other abnormal conditions. Wait until scalp is normal. Question patron about possible history of allergies due to hair straightening. Do not straighten hair of patron who has ever experienced allergic reaction to straightening. To protect generally sensitive hands of perator and to avoid rubbing softened skin, rubber gloves MUST be worn until wave is completed. Do not preshampoo hair. Do not comb or brush hair vigorously. READ DIRECTIONS TWICE & FOLLOW CAREFULLY CAUTION: This product should be applied solely to the hair and to no other part of the body. Keep away from the reach of children. Contains Sodium Hydroxide. Do not use on hair has been bleached. This is a quality product, but of used otherwise than as directed, harmful consequences will result. DIRECTIONS FOR USE A. Section hair into quarters, starting at forehead to nape of neck, then across from ear to ear. Dip large comb into straightening cream and begin applying at nape of neck (include neckline hairs). Comb gently backward toward ends - part hair and comb over and under each section, using a side to side motion. Continue until entire section is covered. Note: Keep straightening cream one half inch from scalp at all times. When processing is completed and hair is straight, rinse hair thoroughly with tepid water. Make certain that all straightening cream is rinsed out. Continue this process on the remaining three sections of hair (comb until straight, then rinse). B. After hair has been completely straightened and rinsed, shampoo with NICE & STRAIGHT SHAMPOO. Wash until hair is completely clean of straightener. RInse with tepid water and towel dry. SIZE : 16 oz

I haven't seen much on this product, it may be new...It's being listed as a conditioner....it also doesn't ask for neutralizing shampoo or anything, either.....hmmmmmm

If they are calling it a conditioner than shame on them. What conditioner tells you to wear gloves? I'm suspicious. Sodium Hydroxide sounds like a chemical to me.

Hi Friend - based on the bolded- this is a prerequisite for relaxer application...sodium hydroxide is lye and is never used conditioners...
