Nexxus Humectress and detangling

For those of you who use Nexxus Humectress, how do you detangle your hair? It left my hair a mat, but it DID feel really moisturized.

Hmmm, I had the same problem with L'anza's Dry Hair Moisture Treatment..my hair felt really soft, but no slip...they sell a detangler to use immediately following the moisture treatment for that reason.

I would suggest you follow it up with Nexxus Headdress Leave-In, which IMO does an awesome job detangling.

nexxus ensure is the acidifying and detangling conditioner. Now I do add olive oil to the headress and that gives it an amazing amount of slip.

pardon my ignorance, but what is "slip"?

I thought I was the only person who had that problem, with humectress my hair is always moisturized but never has slip. I usually have a hard time detangling.

"Slip" means the comb easily glides or slips through your hair. No tangles.

the same thing happened to me until i used the headress leave in conditioner as a setting lotion. i am very happy w/the results that i get. i was a bit concerned because i am a stickler about using an entire product line and not substituting. however, if this does'nt work you might want to try design essentials foam or silk 2.

Thanks. About using products from all one line....I'm getting better with this...at first just about every one of my products was from a different line. Tell me if you still think that this is too much product switching:

I only use Nexxus for shampoos and conditioners, basically everything that maintains hair and keeps it healthy.

I only use Avlon Affirm for my relaxer and the shampoo, conditioner, and protecto that go with it.

As for styling products, I didn't really find a need to stick with one line

ne way i have been using that in the morining after conditioner washes so maybe it that that keeping my hair tangle free, but ne way i put it my hair when it is wet and comb through in small sections

After I condiition and rinse out my hair, from Humectress condition. I rub a little humectress on my hair and comb out, I have had no problems of tangling.
