Nexxus Emergencee

Hi,

A few weeks ago, I saw a thread that was started about this product. It was about not using a plastic cap but just letting it dry and turn hard on the hair. I THINK that is the basic of what it was about. Anyways, If anyone can help me find it or remember what had worked out for some many I would appreciate that! I have looked through hundreds of pages and haven't been able to locate!

I have super dry hair and it breaks off or whatever (I'm new can't ya tell:lol:) So I wanted to give that a try!

Thanks!

Bella

Thanks okay Im here to learn! I have NO Idea what Henna is...lol Im really new at the hair terminology and products and such. I'm out in the middle of Idaho where it cost $130 for me to get a relaxer at a shop, So Im trying to do this all on my own now!

Not sure what a henna is?

Well, I am not saying that Emergencee is not good. It is. It was my treatment of choice over aphogee because it was easier to apply and did not drip so much.

But, I don't think I will ever have to use it again since I have seen the difference that Henna makes.

Check out this site: http://www.hennaforhair.com/faq/index.html

I have been using Neutral Henna because I don't want to color my hair. There are many threads in rotation about it, too.

I am a henna newbie but I am sure that any ladies can answer your questions. Henna for hair sells samples too: http://www.hennaforhair.com/samples/index.html

I will have to look into this! I have this like $14 tiny bottle of this Emergencee stuff. But the henna is something I will definitely look into. Especially if it will help with my super dry ends I would post a pic of those ends if onnly I knew how...hmmm:ohwell: Ill have to figure out how!

Thanks again!

 GOODNESS! That alone would inspire me to stretch my relaxer!

Yeah its pretty pricey! There is just one shop here and I had gone a year without a relaxer cause I was pregnant (should've thought about going natural.) I had just moved here and was surprised that they even had a salon here, so the money wasn't the big of a deal! Until, I had to go back for $50 every two weeks for wash and stuff thats $100 plus that I couldn't justify spending monthly so, I had to end that relationship. I just did my own relaxer, and it turned out pretty good after I used that Nexxus Humcetress (sp?) but I think if I decide to do another self relaxer I will get tips and try the Silk Elements. Im sure it cheaper then $130.

Hey girl, I remember reading a thread and it was called " A betta way to use Emergencee". I think this is the one you're looking for. Go to the search engine, and type "betta way emergencee", and the thread will come up. Let me know if thats the one, but if not, its a good thread anyway.;)

Yes that was the one I was looking for! Someone had bumped it for me earlier! But thanks to you as well!!

I think I will give that a try next week or so to see if I have any success with it!

I keep seeing so many threads about Henna but I am so lost that I don't know whether I even want to start trying to figure it out. I usually shut down when there is tooo much information circulating...I get overwhelmed. I guess I'll visit the henna for hair website again and make a decision. I'm going to start yet another Henna thread to ask some questions.

P.S. I really liked Nexxus Emergencee when I used it. I just don't know how often I can use it. There isn't anything on the bottle that tells you that.

I went to read the Henna information once but it kind of went over my head. Im alittle apprehensive about using it. So, I think just reading the information on the site and asking questions. I have read a few post about it on the board. I know what the henna like powder is like a dye that my friend used to use to do art on her arms and hands which is really coo, But for hair? I don't know...I will research more and see.

I think I read that using the Emergencee every 4 weeks or so? Not too sure about that. But, did you try it without the cap and drying it until its hard?
