Hello everybody,

I finally decided to join after lurking on this site everyday since December '06. You ladies have been in inspiration for me. I'm finally retaining length as a result of protected styling.I have been shoulder length since I was a child. I'm now past shoulder length trying to make to make it to armpit length and I have started to stretch my relaxers. I am now 8 weeks post and I have an inch of curly new growth. I had no idea my hair was that curly. I like touching it. But anyway, I just wanted to say hello. Wish me luck.

Thank you everybody for your welcomes. I have to say that I am retaining some serious growth due to your advice. I though I would be stuck at shoulder length forever, but know l can look forward to apl before summer hopefully
