Well I've decided to come out of hiding officially and introduce myself. I've been secretly lurking on here since september and I'm IN LOVE with ALL of you ladies and your Bea-U-Tiful hair!! :lachen:I recently took some pics of my hair at two weeks post relaxer. What do u ladies think is a reasonable date for setting my goal of APL?

BTW: I don't even think I'm shoulder length yet....:ohwell:

Welcome! Your hair looks really great for just starting out! To determine how long it will take to reach APL, you need to measure from the end of your hair to the APL line to determine how many inches you need. You also need to know about how many inches you gain per month. Then just do the math (Inches to APL/inches per month).:yep:

Your hair is beautiful. It already looks healthy and thick from the pics. With the tips here at LCHF, I think you can get to APL within six months (even with trims). Once you find a regime that works for you and your hair, you really need to stick with it (consistency is the key) in order to receive the best results and the fastest hair growth.

Hiya :wavey: welcome to the forum! you are going to love it here! LHCF ladies rock :)

Happy hair growing!

ETA: your hair looks healthy off to a great start

Your hair looks very healthy! And it does look shoulder length to me :yep:
I think you'll be APL in 6-8 months as long as you have a good regimen and stick with it! What's your regimen?

Thanks gurl! I love ur hair too! Currently my regimen consists of washing and deep conditioning once a week. I really avoid heat like the plague (i don't even own a blowdryer or flatiron..:lachen:) and I airdry my hair. The only time I get it flat ironed is when i get a relaxer every six weeks (I'm gonna start stretching my relaxers tho ). I just make sure to moisturize daily. Pretty simple.
