I have a sensitive tummy (ulcers), so I stagger mine. During the first full meal of the day (not necessarily breakfast) I take chromium picolinate. About 10 minutes after finishing, I take my multi-vitamin and vitamin E capsule.
During dinner, I take MegaCleanse & acidophilus capsules. 10 minutes after finishing I take flax oil capsule.
My body doesn't like to process too many supplements at once. I have a slow metabolism, everyting that goes in my belly takes its sweet time to process.
Side effects I've had from taking them all at once was: getting sleepy (temporarily threw my blood sugar out of whack), nausea, painful gas, pain at ulcer sites (if you have ulcers you know exactly how many and where) and loud digestion (growling stomach). erplexed
I don't know if it's better to take them at certain times of the day. Like our hair regimes, I imagine different things work for different people. HTH!
