Wow, so its been awhile, have been lurking so a quick hello to all, followed by two questions!

1) just gone for a big chop, was just fed up with my hair looking like S**t, so my plan is to really focus on hair care! so tips to look after freshly cut hair that is just above my chin, most importantly my ends, and how to keep it looking good with minium styling and heat,

2) I will be going to new york for a few weeks in November and would like to know of a good salon that i can frequent whilst i'm there, i plan to go there for weekly roller sets and treatments, any recommendations will be greatly appreciated

i've given up on length and now concentrating on some seriously healthy hair!

hope you can help ladies xxxx

Het fairyhairy. I am also going to New York in a couple of weeks for my wedding anniversary. I am taking an extra suitcase just for all the hair products I wanna buy. Can anyb NY out there tell me of an area I can go to which has a large quantity of bss. Over in the UK, we have area's like Brickton and Peckham, which cater specifically to the black neighbourhood ie, every other shop is a hair shop or hardresser. Does New York have the same kind of area's, and if so, please, please, please, could you guys tell me where, am willing to travel.
