That looks like a lavish affair!
Congrats on the wedding OP you were a beautiful bride
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
We are by no means upper class. To be honest, I spent A LOT of time researching different options to cut back on expenses...I handmade most of these items!!! (I secretly love arts & crafts)
For example.....
Table Numbers - handmade..Hobby Lobby all the way!
Centerpieces - handmade - Dollar Store/Hobby Lobby/Garden Ridge
Charger Plate - Big Lots!!! $1.99 for 4 plates + Hobby Lobby for rhinestones to "bling them out"
Table Runners - $4.00/table
I did spend a "fair" amount on things like my dress (fair, being a relative term...~$2,300) , dinner ($60/person) but other than that...I was a total D-I-Yourselfer!!!
Every bride (couple) should definitely have the wedding of her (their) dreams, but I don't believe in going broke or insanely in debt over it!!!
If you're a bride on a budget (as most of us are), I'm more than happy to share "secrets" on ways to shaving down those expenses!!!!
The greatest advice I can give for all brides is DO NOT rent!!!!! Renting is a total RIP OFF!!! Purchase everything when it comes to your decor!!!
I have resold most of my items (including a
used unity candle) for +$1,000 and we're only 3 weeks out!! I've pretty much made all my money back on decorations and misc items! Ebay, Recylcebride.com, weddingbee.com are all great resources!!
Thanks for the wonderful compliments! God Bless!
