Trying to find love but sick of the same old dating sites? Amour Creole has you covered. Unique dating web sites are popping up all over the web offering singles tailored matchmaking from adventure dates and sites for single parents to genetic matchmaking.

Amour Creole lists a few of our newest faves:

ScientificMatch: This website matches singles by analyzing DNA. The idea is that couples who are best genetically suited for each other will end up in more satisfying relationships and produce healthier offspring. The company assures privacy for members and says their matches end up with more chemistry and better sex lives. http://scientificmatch.com/html/index.php

SpeedDate: Friends may have convinced you to trek to local restaurants or hotels for speed dating nights where you shift from table to table to talk with singles for a few minutes to see if there are any candidates with whom you would like to share a real date. Well welcome to the online version where you have five minute chats with other singles to see if there’s any chemistry. Forget lengthy profiles and endless emails back and forth just to realize you have no chemistry once you finally meet face-to-face. With SpeedDate you can date numerous singles using audio and video feeds without leaving the comfort of your home. http://www.speeddate.com/

Meet Market Adventures: Shooting ranges, kayaking, sailing, horseback riding, road races, golfing, hiking, ziplining and even airplane flying are all considered first dates on Meet Market Adventures. This website has been featured on the Today Show, ABC News, CNN and many other media outlets because of the site’s twist on dating – getting singles together for thrilling group activities so people can get to know each other in a unique environment. At the very least there will likely be some bonding time as you’re jumping out of a place with a hottie. http://www.meetmarketadventures.com/index.php

Single Volunteers, Inc.: On their site, Single Volunteers, Inc. says they are not a matchmaking or dating site, but they do help singles get together through various volunteer projects. Whether helping out at a food pantry, soup kitchen, local zoo or festival – Single Volunteers, Inc. helps like-minded people get to know each other without the pressure of traditional dating. http://www.singlevolunteers.org/

SingleParentMeet: Just like the other typical dating websites, SingleParentMeet features profiles of singles and a matching system – the key difference is that all the singles are parents. These parents are often too busy or uncomfortable with the traditional dating scene, so SingleParentMeet aims to make the dating process a less daunting. The site also features articles to help singles get back into dating. http://www.singleparentmeet.com/

I'll share my comments about my experience with 2 of them.

SpeedDate. It goes way too fast. You only have a few minutes to talk to the person. If you don't leave contact information or save them fast enough, you might lose them. Plus, that's not enough time to figure someone out. Another one of those check everything but black sites. The level of thirst on that site is out of this world. :lol:

SingleVolunteers. They seem like an active group, but more catered to the 30/40+ crowd though.

Wow I didn't know there was so many websites that catered to singles out there. Thanks for posting.

I want to go on a singles cruise but don't know if I have it in me to go on one alone :look:

@RachelRegina
You do. There's a section in your profile where you can put what race you want to date. I just signed on and a latino dude who is only interested in latina women just hit me up. #Icant. :perplexed

Oh ok I got ya now. And :perplexed at that. Perhaps he thinks you're latina? :giggle: :giggle: :giggle:
