Im here to say "DONT GIVE UP!!". I was one of the people who could barely do a rollerset on relaxed hair and barely maneuver a flat iron, but after practice and a lot of shed tears, I think I'm getting the hang off it. Keep on trucking and it will get better.....it's a part of the journey.;)

Just my $.02...BTW Im 10 months post.

I am 7 months into my transition, and all week I have been debating if I should relax again. I am 100% style challenged. Every 3 weeks I go to the salon to have my hair double twisted. I tried to do a braidout, and I failed miserably. Reading posts such as yours encourages me to stick it out.

Im glad I could be of some encouragement to you. Keep up the good work....Just keep trying and make sure you do it when you aren't going anywhere or have the back up plan!! :D

I'm in this position too. I'm about 6 months post & I was getting Dom blowouts regularly, but I decided to stop, so now I'm trying to figure out how to make a braidout look good :perplexed. My hair has been in a bun for the past month & I was getting tired of not looking my best. Thanks for the nice post, I was really needing it today.
