Hi! I've been having fun lurking on this site for a few weeks, and I'm ready to start contributing 
I just got back from the salon and I got a shampoo, leave-in condition, then blow dried, sit under dryer to dry my roots for a few minutes, last was the marcel flat-iron...oh and then a trim. It really feels like I got a relaxer and has movement, and it's still really soft...I'm happy with it and can't wait to grow it back out. I was about two weeks away from giving in to a perm because I couldn't get my type 4a/4b hair to straighten properly without damaging it. She did a great job detangling my hair and I didn't even see any hair on the ground after she blow-dried it. When I blow dry it there is hair EVERYWHERE. So I'm just going to let her wash my hair (and deep condition from now on) for me every two weeks. I have some other pics in the album from the beginning of my journey, including how my hair looks when it's wet (don't be scared )
Anyway, I look forward to "discussing" with everyone in the future!
