New Stylist alert.............

This stylist was mentioned by JerseyGirl a while back. Her name is Tonyce Chapman and she uses Mizani and Affirm relaxers. I called her and she was REALLY nice and agreed that lye leaves the hair less dry and agreed that for my hair a relaxer applied with a brush would be best. I made an appt and am going next FRIDAY ---- Yaay!

She charges $65 for a relaxer $10 extra for conditioner which I feel is reasonable.....

I forgot to add that she is in Queens, New York.

Believe it or not she is in the Salon at the JC Penney in the Queens Center Mall. I don't care where I do my hair as long as the stylist is good

Vevster---please let us know how it went. Since you have been to Marvin, I am interested in hearing the comparison. I haven't had a touchup yet (11 weeks) because I'm financially challenged right now and can't afford his prices right now but I am too scared to go to just anyone.

Yes, Vevster let us know how it goes. I had my hair relaxed at a JCPennys, and the service was great.
