Here is what I think about the new pictures in my fotki

1) I don't see any growth!

2) I think my ends are damaged and I need to start trimming. I am just trying to get it to grow.

3) The last time I used Kenra was in the August pictures. I think my hair looks the healthiest here. I planed to go to the Mall after I finshed my test and before picking up kids. I ran out of time. I'll try again Thursaday.

Need to get

MSM
Biotin
Kenra

This will restablish my regime as it was in August along with my new additions: clarify, reconstruct, leave-in Salerm 21 (coming in the mail), WGO, and others oils.

Your hair looks fine, I think you just need a slight trim. I for one am pro-trim and believe you will not see noticeable growth if your ends are always breaking and splitting. But if you believe in trimming on an as needed basis... now is a good time.

OKay firs of all I DO see grwoth. I agree with the damaged ends but I dont think you need a major trim, maybe 1/2 an inch just to get a fresh start and get rid of any splits (despite all my cutting , Im pretty anti-trim if youre tyrign to maintain length). As far as the vitamins, dont overload, it can have the opposite effect youre going for (brittle hair, dry hair, etc) ALso you may wanna lay off the clarifying. Clarifying my hair dried it out. Maybe twice a month or once a month... Just my opinions :D

Yeah I think your hair looks fine too, actually I see it has inproved in health and is getting thicker, the length will come soon. Some pple hair gets healthier first then the length, just be patient and keep doing what you have been doing. HHG

Thanks for the advice. I will give a trim next time I wash my hair.

Thanks ladies for the advice. I really appreciate the encouragement. Especially the need to trim.

I clarify once a month just recently on Tuesday because of so much build up. I may have to cut down on the vitamins like you suggested right now I've been taking 4 for a month and I don't see any difference. I will make some changes and stop taking a couple to add the msm and biotin. It will be time for a reconstruct here in minute.

BeautifulWideEyesThanks again for the encouragement. I wasn't sure about growth so figured I'd ask the ladies of LHCF.

I see that your hair has improved. I think that a slight trim would help you out, also, remember that because you have new growth you won't see the full potential of your length until you get a touch up.

Girl, it takes time to see major results. Your hair is doing just fine. I see you joined the LHCF in May of 2005, you have barely been here a year (unless you were lurking for awhile :D ), so give it some time. Don't chop all your hair off. Maybe 1/2 inch just to get a fresh start, but keep doing what you are doing and trust me, this May when you take some more pictures you will see a difference. :yep:

Co-signing with the other ladies. Also, are you trimming at each relaxer? I'm an advocate of trimming, but I do not believe you necessarily have to trim at each relaxer. I have realized a lot of growth and I trim 2-3x/year. Keep up the good work. Also, have you tried MTG? I've used this (albeit inconsistently) and I noticed a growth spurt in the front of my hair which usually grows at a snail's pace. HTH
