Hey everyone! I've been lurking around here for a while. I've finally got my account set up I have been aching to post on here! Anyways, I'm Kirsten. I'm still trying to work out what type of hair I have because my mother has kept my hair relaxed for as long as I can remember, but I think it's in the 3c/b area. I am here because Throughout the years I haven't had any good hair tips passed down to me. My hair has always been thick, but now I'm ready for it to be healthy. I've been on a couple other hair boards/forums, but the members weren't quite as friendly I don't think. Another reason that I think my hair isn't as healthy is because in my town there isn't much focus on ethnic hair care. In our shops we have the Let's jam gel, blue magic hair grease, plenty of the pink oil stuff from what I can tell they aren't too beneficial to your hair! I've been taking advice from you all, and for the first time I am actually liking my hair! My hair has never felt so soft. Sorry, to make this so long I thought I'd just stop by and do a formal introduction. I really look forward to getting to know you all!

eta: I have a fotki...Haha, it's kind of under construction. http://public.fotki.com/1969inthesunshine/
I've got some new pics on my camera, so they'll be on there in the next couple of days.
