New Instant Weave

I've been dying to straighten my hair again but I promised that I wouldn't do it until May or June. So I broke down and bought an instant weave. This one is by Sensationnel and it's a Totally Instant Weave. Basically it's a wig with bangs so none of my hair is out. I haven't worn it out yet since I just got it today. I can't figure out how to post the pic here so please check my album. It's the first two pics. I've taken away the password temporarily. Please tell me what you think. or Thanks.

Just on a side note- I don't get why they call it an instant weave if it is a wig?? Is it just so people won't see wig and run!!

I don't know why. They started off with only 3/4 wigs but added a few full wigs. All the instant/quick weave companies are doing it. Outre, Sensationnel, and Freetress. They seem a bit lighter than traditional wigs.

So is it on a stocking cap type of thing.....I'm trying to picture how you put it on.

I had to put my hair in two braids and then I put a wig cap on. The wig has two combs in the front and back. I slid it on and attached the combs. If you click on the link, it tells you how to put it on. Since I have the full cap, I don't have to make the part in the front.

Do these come in different sizes. I just recently bought one, but its like too much bulk at the back of my head. and I can't pull it any more forward b/c I have to leave hair out of the front. Anyone else have this issue.

They are one size, unfortuately. When I wore my 3/4 one, I had to play with it so that the comb when in at the very top. It tended to slide back about an inch, which made it fit funny. Play around with it a bit.

Funny thing is I have a big head so I'm really surpised at the extra materials. My little headed mama would be swimming in hair.

It looks great to me Tai, it is very natural looking! At first when I looked at the pictures I thought it was your hair, but after looking at some of your older pictures, your hair is much fuller and thicker . Either way, it still looks good on you, I love the style!

Thanks, Kha. My hair was that thin when I texturized. It's thickened back up nicely.
