Hi everyone! I found this site about a week ago and I am getting so much great info. I have been trying to see what alot of people are doing to help their hair grow and I'm seeing/hearing of things I've never heard of before.
Amazing pictures on this board! There is some hope for my hair after all.

I just read about MSM.(new to me) I did an online search and I might try that.
I'm all excited about this phytorelaxer(again new to me) Sounds to good to be true but I will definitely be trying it. (I am a product junkie, closet full of stuff)
the Dominican blow out. I don't know of any Domincan salon in my area to try this.
And Surging. Which I still can not find a real definition of what this is. Can someone help me out on this one?

Anyways, i'm loving the board-my eyes hurt from reading so much I would appreciate any help I can get on getting my hair to be healthy and grow. Thanks!

If you do a search, you will find LOTS of info on Surging-- which by the way Surge is a product (scroll to the top of the page and click on the big banner that says Surge to go to their website). It's supposed to help your hair grow faster. So when ladies say they are "surging" it just means that they are using Surge.

I have tried Surge before, I'm not sure if it caused any extra growth or not though. I really only use it when I have braids to keep my edges from becoming non existant .
