Hey just wanted to say hi... I have been treating my hair like absolute dirt so today I'm gonna start doing it right again. In highschool I had thick lustrous beautiful hair... now its heat and color damaged, but I have never had a perm. Tryin to get to wsl one of these days... Anyways here are some pics... I'm looking into trying a mix of MTG and some gro-aut oil or something. Before today I have been butchering my hair with long nights without silk bonnets, washing every 2 weeks, no deep conditioners :wallbash:... I suck. But I decided that I'm gonna have to take some me time out for my hair's sake, especially since I am trying to lose weight too. Maybe by the new year I'll be a little bitty long haired light skinned girl and ready for some photo shoots for my album LOL:drunk:. Here go some pics of my hair... Let the advice poureth out ladies lol. And I am also trying to figure out my type too in case anyone wants to tell me
The one of my grad pic is from last year, i just washed, airdried, then pulled it back
One is of a flat twist set i did...
the last is of me and my dog when i got some stove curls.
peace and hair grease!
Then goes some 2 strand twists I had in while I killed myself on the track

Hi and welcome to the boards.

It's great that you are starting on your hair journey.

The link I posted below has a lot of great information for newbies starting out. Maybe you can take a peek at it and see if it helps. That thread, "Newbies guide to staring out" will most likely answer all of your questions.
FYI: I believe you said that you are relaxed. If I am not mistaken I believe that hair types such as 4A etc. is for people with natural hair.

Just wanted to say welcome! I'm not sure what your type is but if I had to guess, I'd say it's in the 3 family...anyone else gonna way in?

Do you have a clearer shot of your hair in it's natural, untouched state?
Almost all of your pics are in styles, and the natural pic is a little blurry.

I'm thinking 4a though.

Hi & Welcome!!! What ever your hair type is, it's beautiful!
