Happy New Year, everyone!

The new year is about to start and I want to make a promise to myself to focus 3 things for better hair health:
  1. Drink more water
  2. Start hiding my ends again
  3. Start journaling and taking more progress pictures of my hair
I think 2 and 3 helped my hair to thrive when I first started my hair journey. I know people say a watched pot never boils, but take it from someone who knows how to burn food: A pot that isn't watched, burns.

As for the first one, I only had about 1 year EVER where water was basically the only thing that I drank. And I drank a good amount each day (2-3L). I want to get back to that level of hydration. I'm not sure if it did anything for my hair, but it certainly didn't hurt.

So, what are your top 3 new hair's resolutions for the upcoming year?

For hair health, I commit to:
  • drinking 64+ ounces of water a day
  • eating nutricioisly and healthily
  • detangling so as to minimize mechanical damage
I'm taking a semester off from coursework to prioritize, among other things, the healing and health and fitness of my body, which should improve my hair health. ❤️
