This is cute but I admit I side eye it a little
That’s fair honestly I just built it while I was transitioning from a relaxer and trying to stay consistent with my own journey. I was in my last semester of software engineering and finally got the confidence to just build the thing I knew would help me and others on the same journey.

Definitely not meant to replace forums like this. It’s more like a personal tracker, routine former with notifications & a community space for help. I do appreciate the honesty though. What makes you side eye it?

just an advice it is not good form to "advertise" as a new member. You'll notice you will not get much traction because you have not built trust and longevity. I think in the manner in which social media has been monetized, there is a need to keep these spaces free of "selling" or you can pay for the vendor membership. I realize that the app is free but I do believe you intend on monetizing it at some point.

I totally hear you on the trust and longevity part. So someone referred me to this site to share. I’m introverted & much better at coding than I am at being an influencer that shares advice. And I really do wish I found this site years ago, I wouldn’t have struggled with my hair as much as I did.

But I’m definitely not trying to monetize the app yet, i care more about it helping other black women for free. It’s just a passion project for now. And all the current features you see will stay free. But I hear you on the vendor rules, and I’ll make sure to respect the space while I continue to learn from everyone here. Thanks for being real with me
