new growth

i noticed when my new growth comes in, it seems to be a tighter coil in the front then in the back there is a wave...i guess it is due to the diffrent textures in my hair..does this happen to anyone else...growths tighter in other places than others?

Yes, I seem to have different textures, too. I am at 7.5 months past last relaxer and I learn more and more as time passes.

yep i agree...wow , i am hoping i will be able to get a few months worth of new growth , and be able to manage it ...i wanna wait 2-3 months....how do u maintain ur newgrowth with out breakedgs?

I use Carol's Daughter Healthy Hair Butter on my new growth. It keeps it moisturized for days so I don't need to reapply and the moisture makes it easy to manage.

Absolutely. The very front of my hair can be picked out nearly straight, while the sides by my temples curl up very very tight. The crown is more fuzzy, and the back has looser curls. It is not uncommon for someone to have more than one texture on their head.
