New Growth???

What else can I use on my new growth to soften it besides WGO and S Curl. I tried them both but I could not stand the strong smell of WGO and the S curl I just did not like. I'm trying to make it through my first 12 week stretch and I'm on week 8 but I wont make it if I cant get this new growth under control.
