I was in Sally's and saw this... Well, I thought it was a light hair grease/moisturizer and bought it....
When I got home and really read the label it is really a conditioner for hair/scalp:mad: ( I have a truck load of stuff I'm trying to use up as it is)
But since I have it... I was wondering who has used it and what are your reviews of it?
Thanks and as always any info welcomed...

Girl, I just picked this up today!!! That's the "NEW" version of the NEW ERA 2000 Moisturizing conditioner that I've raved about in the past! So for those that ran out and said they were getting what seemed to be aged jars of the "original" stuff in the white and purple bottle, if you want to give it another shot, this new version is out with Shea Butter so you can get a "fresh" batch which can be identified in orange and purple packaging. Can't wait to try it.

I'll take a pic of the new packaging later tonight and put it up.

They did have a shea butter hair "creme", what you probably thought you were picking up. It's in the same packaging and can be easily confused with the Moisturizer which is the conditioner. The shea butter creme smelled like coco butter

Thanks 1913,

I have not used it yet... but will try it within the next 2 weeks...
i will post a review...

thanks again:grin:

I tried this conditioner a few weeks ago and hated it. It left my hair feeling dry as a bone. I had to re-deep condition (w/Greit Oil 12 En 1) to get some moisture back into my hair. I will definitely be sticking with the New Era 2000 (old version). IMO, the old version is 100% more moisturizing than the Platinum Shea Butter Hair Moisturizer.

Oh Boy:eek: , that sounds bad... I may try it and follow up with my staple moisturizing condtioner...

Thank you;)

REALLY?!?! Awww man, don't tell me I got all excited for an "improved" formula. I still have 2 jars of the 2000, I'll give this a whirl and let you guys know how it compares for me.

Ok, I conditioner washed with it this morning. While my hair did not necessarily come out dry, I do think I like the results original formula better. I will probably use it up, but may not repurchase. I'll see after a couple of more uses. Keep in mind I didn't not leave in for the suggested time.

my mom recommended this stuff to me today and i must say i like it! i didn't use it as the directions said to but i am glad i didn't. i think it helped maximize the results

anyway i shampoo'd and condition as normal and then used this moisturizer for 15 mins. i also used the amount i feltwas good enough to coat my hair (the jar says about 1oz but i used about 2.5oz) when i rinsed my hair it felt really silky and i noticed a difference when i was styling as normal.
