I'm hoping you want my genuine opinion.
I think the braids are absolutely beautiful and $20 is an absolute steal.
I just don't really think that style flatters your face. It depends on what your money situation is, but i would take them out.
But thats me, i am very fussy.
If you wear them, you don't look a mess at all, but you don't look the best you could look.

OK, I looked at the pics first before reading your post and the first thing I said was...
"Oooooooo, Pretty!
Then I read it. I love them...but I'm a big fan of cornrows. I especially like the parting in the front and that it only cost $20.
I think you should keep them. You can also turn the ponytail into a Bun if you like. That would be cute too.
