New Batch of Hair Accessories I made

Ok ladies I made a couple new hair accessories. I'm going to make some single bejeweled hair pins next to add dazzle when I do Tracy's signature bun. I'm 12 weeks post now and I think I can stretch a while longer because of my new found love of buns. When I use them I'll take pictures.

Hi ladies thanks for all the positive responses. I'm glad you like them. For some, mostly the metal ones, I use the glue gun, but I don't really like it because it can get messy. For the flower ones and the butterfly one with the clear rhinestones I used a glue called Jewel-It. It's easy to handle, dries clear, and not messy. It does take a while to set. The glue gun is almost instant and you can easily remove it.

I think Jewel-it is permanent, but it takes so long to dry that you have time to adjust it. At this point I can't see myself selling them. I still have a lot of experience I need to gain first and I wouldn't want to give someone a messy product. I don't even know how long these last. With my next one I can do a step by step picture tutorial to show how I do it the flower ones if you like. It's really easy. The metal ones are kind of harder just because I work with tiny pieces and I have to use tweezers on some of them. Except for the flowers, every other piece was bought separately and I then decided how I want to put it together.

These are toooooooooooo CUTE!!!!!!! I cannot find cute hair accessories to save my life in tmy area and guess what? I still have 11 MORE weeks of bunning before my next texturizer, so I HAVE to spice these boring buns of mine up! I'm going to hit Michael's arts and crafts stores to start experimenting with my own!!

I made them as a set. When I do my buns I like to do a little poof in the front. So I use the big one for the bun and the little one to cover the hair pins in my poof. I'll be wearing them tomorrow I think.

Good job! I did craft time with my DD yesterday and we made some accessories like the one in your last thread. Keep the ideas coming. We had such a nice time yesterday. We spent mommy & me time and we were doing it for something we both care about, OUR HAIR..lol

The floral department in walmart. Ycan actually use any flowers you like from anywhere. Joann's is a craft store.
