I saw it mentioned on another thread.. its supposed to help thicken the hair. Exactly what is it, how does it look, and how is it used?

It is a green herb sometimes used in cooking(tastes great in pasta). It used as a young shoot and is usually infused in oils or other foods. It can sometimes be taken ground as well as a food supplement. Nettles(stinging nettles) help with hair growth

I mention this yesterday on the ‘"Girl you NEED to try this"...(pjs may need to avoid this thread)’ thread.

I’m at work right now but when I get home I will post the website that explains it all.

I use the liquid kind (found in Health Food stores) and just add 30 drops (2 droplets full) along with ¼ cup of ACV and a few shakes of the following EO rosemary, peppermint, and sage and then add 1 ¾ cups of water.

Talk about a sensation! After you pour the rinse on your hair wrap it in a towel and just enjoy. You can just feel it working. It has a heating effect.

I have been meaning to post this info for a while, I just have not gotten around to it. I wanted to test it first and then share it with my thin hair sisters. It works!

Like I said I will post the web site later when I get home.

the Spanish people use nettle, sage, rosemary, carrots, and tyme in their evoo as pre-poo, sit under a dryer for 30 minutes and then shampoo. they use the fresh herbs, heat the oil then, put herbs then let it cool in the evoo, then then they bottle it. Some people use the fat from chicken and make the same concoction. I guess this chicken fat is protien. this is the remedy that the people from Dominican Republic use. I use this when I go to the Caribbean. It makes hair appear soft, fluffy and full.

Hey.. are you using this as a pre-poo, a conditioner, or as a leave-in?

I take 435 mg of nettle daily it is a great source of chlorophyll, Chlorophyll has virtually the same structure as hemoglobin. The only difference is the central atom at the center of a molecule of chlorophyll is MAGNESIUM. the benefits of chlorophyll
1- reverses muteagenic capacity of some cancer causing chemicals
2- stimulates new cell growth
3- builds blood, neutralizes toxins such as pesticides
4- binds with heavy metals removing them from the body
5- fights infection
6- improves liver funtion
