Ok I am curly perming a lace front. I am using naturelle apple perm in the green box. The directions state that I should neutralize with the rods in then take them out and neutralize again and rinse with water. Well when I did the test curls they came out pretty, but fell a bit after I rinsed them the second time when the rods were not in. Is is absolutely necessary for me to take the rods out to neutralize the second time? Can't I just heavily saturate the rods with neutralizer?

I already did and no one has responded yet. I figured someone here would be able to help because the process for curling the lace front would be the same as the process for curling someone's natural hair. Too bad no one wears jerry curls anymore erplexed

I curl my natural hair using rollersets or flexirods, never perms. I'm sorry I cant be of help, but you can try naturallycurly.com. There are some ladies there that do wear lace fronts.
