Need some clarification

I'm been reading about mtg and mega tek. I understand that they are different brands, but are they used for the same purpose? If not, could someone please explain what each one is used for and how?

Both are used for growth. MTG is oil based; Mega Tek is creamy based - can also but used as a deep conditioner. Both are applied to the scalp to stimulate growth.

MTG is sulfur based and Megatek is protein based.
