Need Loose Bun Style Suggestions

I am doing the Winter Bun Challenge and have been wearing my hair wrapped around a foam donut a lot. I need looser bun styles because when I take my hair down at night, my ends tend to look dry and frazzled (in spite of my using a leave-in daily and, when needed, an oil as sealant).

Please show me (or describe, if you don't have pics) loose bun styles that are easy to create with shoulder-length hair. Thanks!

Well, all I do to make my "bun" is place all my hair in a ponytail and curl my hair under (like if I was going to put my hair in a curler) and wrap another ouchless band around it.
