I have a virgin wavy install which has been in for the past 4wks, it has been great.(similar to my siggy but longer this time). I decided that it was a little dry....so I decided to deep condition with Porosity conditioner...it is gummy, sticking straight out like an old school flying saucer weave and I am going to have to get it taken down if I dont get help from you ladies!!!!! Will it go back to my nice, soft lush hair if I do an ACV rinse on it? or what should I do? Please help!!!! Sitting here at the computer waiting on responses....

IMO, cheapie conditioners work best on weave hair. Dove Moisture therapy or Suave Humectant. IDK how to get rid of your problem, but I would suggest checking the weave section of BHM. Even if you don't prefer that board to this one, the weaveologists over there are the BEST. Good luck!

P.S. sounds really pretty!

I use suave clarifying poo and then follow up with a mosturizing conditioner like herbal essence hello hydration. I recently installed a weave in my hair and this works well when I have too much oils in it

I would do an acv rinse. Put 2 parts acv and 2 parts water in a spray bottle and spray the hair. Leave on for about 5 mins and rinse.
