I have been having scalp problems for the past few months, but when I stopped rollersetting they went away.
Now I wear my hair in twistouts almost everyday and there is absolutely no problem on my scalp...
but whenever I try to rollerset, it comes back.
In 4 spots my scalp starts getting very itchy, red and sometimes it gets weepy... After I do a twistout it magically goes away.
The only thing that's different that I do is put the rollers and clips in my hair instead of twisting it. I used to think it was because I slept on the curlers wrong, but it's not that. I think it's the clips because they are rubbing my scalp. I use double prong metal clips. Has anyone ever heard of someone being allergic to metals?
What does it sound like to you? Maybe I should try to use plastic clips in those areas, but I've never seen plastic clips in stores.
