Hi, I am a texturized 3c with a question. my hair is overall in good shape. The problem I have is a frizzy top layer. Not poof, which I don't mind, but frizzy, blah stringiness and no clumping. When I try to hydrate to compensate, my hair just gets gunky. Anyone have any tips for this dilemma?

I did Cardinalfire. I had to twist the area to get it to look like the curlier hair everywhere else. Or I just stuck to the tried and true ponytail.

I also flatironed to have a different look. That's why I could never get afro's the top layer didn't look right. It was a pain in the butt.

Sorry I couldn't give you better advice, but even texturized it looks different. I hope someone chimes in here.
