I am currently looking for a foam for rollersetting. I need one that provides a light hold and that doesn't leave hair dry.

I am considering purchasing Kercare foam. Those of you have tried this, what were your results?

Nairobi has an excellent foam wrap that isn't sticky and gives your roller sets or wraps a nice soft feel along with a natural sheen.

The only trick is to find it.

I don't know. You may want to try chapmanproducts.com. Or you can do a search on here. TSU Princess mentioned where it can be found in Tenn.

I've been using Joico K-pak leave-in protectant foam for my rollersets, and I like the hold I get (till the next wash day, in 3-5 days) considering I haven't figured out to do my hair for bed yet (for me wrapping=)...

I also have Motions Foam, and I like it too (doesn't hurt that it's way cheaper than Joico), but I like Joico better because of the added insurance of their human hair keratin ingredients (my hair's superfine, so I need all the strength I can get, esp. when rollersetting, as I find I lose more hair w/the rollers than when I blowdry :look:)

Thanks for the link Precious. I just placed an order.

Thanks to everyone for your response. I really do appreciate it.

My old beautician used to use Nairobi products on my hair. How is the Nairobi Foam different with other foam lotions out there? Back then I loved the "salon" look and smell and would love to acheive those results at home now.

I swear by Motions Foaming Wrap Lotion and have been using it for years ... it always leaves my hair very soft and doesn't weigh my hair down at all or give me a sticky or tacky feel. I also find it helps if I just want to dry my hair straight.

Keracare and Jane Carter Solution are the two best by far!
