Need a Detangler Spray Quick!

Hi all - I'm about to make my "Sally's" run in a couple of hours & I need to buy a detangler spray -- any good recommendations? Mahalialee if you see this please respond too because i'm following up on your recommendations for tangle-free combout. Thanks.

The best detangling spray to me is still Pantene leave in spray. It smells good, leaves your hair soft and shiny, it's not expensive and it will be sooo easy to comb your hair. I apply it to sections and then comb these sections. It works so well.
Nay.

ION Anti-Frizz Leave-In Conditioner Spray is good, IMO. It's one of the few that doesn't make my hair feel sticky and/or hard after it has dried. It's sold as a leave-in, but I use it as a detangler...

The ION leave-in that Sassygirl recommended is pretty good. But if you can get your hands on Joico Integrity detangling leave-in, that one is a lot better at detangling.

My new find...

I just made a Sally's run this week and tried the Elasta QP H-Two leave in spray. It is great for moisturizing your hair for a comb out and it doesn't leave a sticky feel or strong smell in your hair. /images/graemlins/up.gif

I'm probably too late, but in the future look for "Soft n Pretty" Olive Oil Detangler.

Yes it had kids on it and says it's for kids but it is grreeat stuff.

This is the one I was going to recommend also. /images/graemlins/smile.gif I used this yesterday after ArmyQT's Elasta QP recommendations and it does work great as a detangler/leave in. Plus it's cheap too /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thank you Nay, Sassygirl, Tee, Honeycomb, Gigi, Mindymouse and Londondiva for "helpin' a sistah out!" with your recommendations!! /images/graemlins/bouncy.gif

Actually, my nearby "Sally's" had some slim-pickins, and by the time I got there they were about to close & weren't trying to give much assistance. Based on the responses from the board I saw at the time, I looked for the Joico and the Pantene, but all I could find was Motions Nourish Leave-in and some wig detangler that said it also worked for humans.

I chose the Motions, due to my current breakage issues & the Motions label which said it had Vit. E, Pro-vit. B-5, protein, and "repairs and strengthens, instantly softens & detangles", (altho y'all wouldn't BELIEVE how long I held on to that bottle of wig stuff before picking up the Motions!) Haha! LOL! /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I was pleased with the Motions Nourish Leave-in Conditioner, when used with the Infusium & some olive oil (as per Mahlialee's suggestion), it really seemed to work well in detangling my hair with less breakage than I've previously experienced.

After making my purchase & leaving Sally's, I found the Pantene at the grocery store of all places! In the future I'll try the Pantene, the Soft n Pretty & the Elasta to see which one works best for my hair. I have a few ION products that I like, but I didn't like ION's leave-in for me because it left my baby-fine hair too sticky.

Thanks again, Ladies for coming to my rescue, YET AGAIN!!! /images/graemlins/smile.gif

P.S. -- I was shocked by this: also at this local DISCOUNT grocery store (Shop-rite), they had a SURPRISINGLY IMPRESSIVE selection of hair products - such as PAUL MITCHELL, NEXUS, BIOLAGE, and a Black hair-care section --- very unusual, at least I've never seen such a selection at a grocery store....

Re: My new find...

I second that Londondiva...i love Elasta QP H2 as a leave in or a detangler...it leaves my hair so soft, and smells yummy /images/graemlins/lick.gif I also love Motions leave-in...good stuff /images/graemlins/smile.gif
