Need a Book Review of: The Threshing Floor

Has anyone read Juanita Bynum's The Threshing Floor? Is it a worthy buy? If so, why? I might pick it up tomorrow...

I bought it a few months ago but I havent read it all the way through, so I can't really comment. I would recommend buying it, but I must be honest that the first chapter or 2 confused me. It talked about the way to make sure God hears your prayers and it had a lot of rituals. I tried them and still incorporate them into prayer (when i remember to), but I have been wondering if all of it is REALLY necessary.

I love Juanita and def want to do all I can to get closer to God. That being said, Im gonna try to read some more this wkend.

I borrowed the book from my local library (I'm a full-time graduate student) and I kinda fizzled out after a couple of chapters. I remember appreciating the chapter about the order of the temple and its correspondence to the model of worship. I liked the index in the back which listed scripture references on a variety of topics.
