NECK LENGTH SISTERS....

Great topic :). I usually wear my hair in an air-dried bun, but I've noticed that it gives me a lot of tangles. Back to rollersetting...

When I was neck length I would wear my hair out in a rollerset, pinned up in the back with a nice clip...maybe a side bang in the front, and I use to do the whole twisties/braids in the front out in the back look back in the day as well lol.

Gosh this is a hard length to manage, i used to wear mine down...sometimes i would attached 3 rows of weave for length..I dont think it takes to long to get from neck length to sholder. Just a case of keeping those ends protected. Protectiv is good for this.

I usually have it pulled back in a intsy winsy lil' ball when I'm not wearing it curled...there's a few pics in my fotki...

This is what I do too. I pull it back and fold my little stingy ponytail under to form a little ball:yep:. Other days i set it at night and remove the rollers and finger comb in the morning.

I pull it back into a lil pigtail and put on my UPA clip or a phony bun. I've been doing this faithfully for over a month now.

I either wear buns or twistouts/braidouts cuz they wind up being short enough that the hair doesn't touch my clothes at all

Its hot as hell where I am 111 degrees :wallbash:so my hair is up as usual. I have really been doing different things as protective styles to my hair. If you need some style ideas check out my fotki.

thanks, checking fotki, because this florida heat/humity got me looking crazy by 5

I have been doing wash-n-go's since getting my hair cut. I guess because I'm relaxed, my hair dries straight. I think I will start pinning it up/back...just to do something different and, probably by the fall, I'll get a new phony bun or possibly a UPA clip and start using those. I think I'll be grazing shoulders by then and will need to make sure my ends are taken care of.

i need a decent pin up style, i'm grazing shoulder lenght and today I slathered my amla oil on it and stuck some b-b pins in it, looks cute from the front but i know the back is looking like :wallbash::wallbash:

I wear mine down everyday bcause my nape is broken off so I cant wear it up.

Same here:yep:. I tried rollersetting a few times. The curls were pretty but the Florida humidity ruined it :wallbash:. I'm thinking about getting my mom to cornrow my hair so I can do a sew-in for a while.

I mostly wear it down but I feel my work jacket pulling it sometimes. I wore it in a tiny pony a couple times but my b/f hates it with a passion. I might try a twist out.

wng, my crown is too short to come any where near a pony tail that includes the back and sides  I can't wait until I can get into a pony though. In the shower, I'll rake it all up into a pony and smooth it, and then I look in the mirror. Its like *ping* *ping* *ping*, my little curlies come flying out of the pony tail.

when i was neck length this is what i did when i was not wearing tree braids. at first i did not like the buns so i favored the the braid out and rollersets because it caused the shrinkage (really helped me to retain growth) but now i love the buns and ponys.

mostly in a small bun ...sometimes out in a fro...and sometimes in braids w/ extension which is what i will be getting tomorrow

I wear my hair pinned up under a wig when I have to work but lately since school is out I've just been wearing it pinned up.
